The Veterans Softball Club web site would not be complete if not for the dedicated record keeping of Second Baseman Doug Walls.

Dougie had the foresight to keep many of the game records, player stats, team records from as far back as 1979, which was the first season the team played, known then as the 'Lil Gaffers'.

There are many stats & records contained within this site, but some years are incomplete or missing altogether. Considering the number of years the Vets have played it is an impressive compilation.

In addition to his record keeping Mr. Walls also found time to publish a weekly report Softball News of Veterans game reports during the 90's. We hope to add these at a future date.

The Veterans appreciate Doug's dedication and thank him for his many hours of hard work maintaining the history of the Veterans Softball Club.
